"The good thing about being vegetarian," Hubby said, "is that cake has no meat."
I didn't actually have any cake today. I did have a doughnut. Does that count?
Since I'm currently on the road for a few days, fresh-cooked meals are mostly out. For dinner last night, I ended up grabbing a frozen dinner: Amy's Veggie Loaf.
The pics on the box always look so much more appealing than the actual dinner itself.
Oh well.
My schedule got a little weird, since my night shift person was a sick puppy. So, my eating schedule was weird. At 3am, I had a Three Cheese & Broccoli Lean Pocket, and a bran muffin.
Around 7am, Hubby brought me some "lunch" from The Woods Coffee.
'Twas a giant redwood iced caramel latte, and a Mediterranean breakfast sandwich, which had egg white, spinach, and pesto & marinara sauce. "Giant redwood" is the name of the size, by the way. Their sizes are "spruce", "cedar", "redwood", and "giant redwood". Get it?
Shortly before the end of my shift, I went out and bought doughnuts for everyone. Since more people had called in sick and I had to do some creative scheduling, I felt it only fair that those who had to work extra to fill in should get something for it. I did indulge in one doughnut.
At 11am, I was off work. I went to sleep and woke up around 3 pm, where I had an apple for...is that lunch? Another breakfast? I don't know.
For dinner, we went to a Mexican restaurant. I had chile rellenos, with fried ice cream for dessert.
So that was my day. I ate out the whole time. I'll probably regret that later. I'm still stuffed from dinner.
I also bought some Girl Scout cookies. I'm proud do say I haven't eat them yet. Whether they make it through tomorrow remains to be seen.
